@darius I found chartodon useful and was just sharing a related project to the thread of people talking about different ways of looking at threads, I did mean for "you all" to see it, but wasn't implying it was the solution to your OP. Anyway carry on! I hope we all figure out better ways of looking at threads cause this is a good example for why conversations here can easily become very messy!

@darius one of the main issues of the new behavior is that people copy those links and use them elsewhere, but they are not the real links, so this has complications

I was seeing all sorts of links like

@darius @danhon oh wow I didn't know that it adds it as a reply to to the OP, thats a neat solution! It would be nice if there was some standard between implementations of this sort if feature, I bet there is 10 different ways of doing it amongst the forks
