@Mastodon Sharing that account on #Twitter was a cheap and a passive aggressive move. Like hoping to get blocked.
That being said, Twitter has always been this way and the only thing that has changed is those who were happily advocating for suspension of their opponents, are now being suspended.
Gotta see if people are still gonna stay away from Twitter after a month, or they'll forget about it and go back, like usual.

Many apps ask user about their interests at initial setup. Why not have that?
First page ask user to choose language, next their favorite topic. and then show a big sign up button for an instance that fits those answers. Its easy to understand and also not limited to just one instance.

@feditips I see a lot of people think this is a good thing. And that users will start there and then move away.
Have you met people?! People don't post their contents on a server, just so they leave it behind and go to another one.
Not to mention saying "pick my own server" make user think its for server admins/owners.

What if after a while the app become exclusively for mastodon.social? Is that ok too? what of mastodon.social become popular and then unfederated?
