Don't know about the issue; not on Masto dot Social

Just as a thought, however, Masto dot Social seems (as current as FediDB can keep up) to be running v4.2.1+pr27634.22407c4

Probably what's called a "nightly"

So y'all get to beta-test the latest release on what (one would think) should be a rock-steady production release

Necessary edits:

"Imagine writing an open source twitter alternative

One that is federated and built on open protocols

Then having to deal with users who are upset you are working with an established walled garden social platform whose entire agenda is to override and ultimately destroy those very open protocols in a demonstrated pattern of conquest and assimilation"

Finally:

"Girl, you can't have it both ways"

"girl"?

girl?

What is this, TikTok or a high school lunchroom?

"but basically a few bugs led people to not be able to post with Pixelfed mentioned for a while, it turned out to be a bug, and there were other things but yeah"

"a few bugs"

Interesting how quickly you adopt the Meta party line on this

Meta was black-holing links to Pixelfed, they got caught and they got called-out, and Meta immediately blamed it on unspecified "bugs"

As mega-corporations do

It's becoming more and more clear which hand(s) are feeding you, and which hand(s) you're increasingly unwilling to criticize

FWIW there's quite a lengthy discussion of exactly this issue going on on Github

So the issue is known; the question is what (if anything) to do about it

Re: [mastodon/mastodon] Editing a poll's message after it has been published causes an issue with the poll results. (Issue #24997)
