@feditips Just getting accustomed to the various Timelines, when I just noticed a new one named, "Community" has popped up on the iPhone app, but which doesn't exist when checking out Mastodon with a Browser. So - What actually is this Community feed and whose posts show up here? Thanks in advance, j.

@feditips I'm still getting acquainted with Mastodon - glad to be here - and so this may be my misunderstanding, but I'm curious: When I go to "Live feeds" I notice the description for both "Other servers" and "All" is exactly the same - "These are the most recent public posts from people on the social web that people on mastodon.social follow." Is this a misprint? If not, why are there two different feeds that are described as being the same? What actually is the difference between them? :)

@feditips @inventaire @technomancy Maybe this’ll clarify which timeline is what, and why different platforms use different terms to describe the same thing. Here’s a vote for consistency in terminology. Viva la revolución!
