Fascinated by how comics pass from an artist’s hand through to the printed page—or a display? I’ve spent years researching, interviewing, and developing *How Comics Were Made: A Visual History from the Drawing Board to the Printed Page*.

@darius Thank you! I was delighted to be asked to write and to write it. I hadn't seen any of the illustrations until today, too—just some sketches. I think the package is great!

@darius @lispi314 @danhon Coptech is usually very expensive, demos well, and turns out to be made of papier-mache and dreams or sulfuric acid. It's either TASER (a less-than-lethal device that's vastly oversold in terms of its potential and can easily kill people and is overused) or gunshot detections systems, which have poor testing outcomes in actual use and are used to justify overpolicing and demonstrate the (f)utilty of polcie tech.

@darius @danhon Given the current state of OFDM inside Wi-Fi and all the channel sensing stuff, it's probably terrifyingly accurate now

@darius @danhon You can also pull this information from wiring in the walls. So combine that and Wi-Fi's OFDM data. It's not infeasible that someone could have AR x-ray vision outside a room…across a whole building in real time.
