@Gargron unfortunately, since that's where a significant chunks of the companies I do business with conduct their "support", now, still have to go to Twitter if I need support.

Knowing what I know about Twitter's security, I'm not *real* happy that two of those companies are my banks' initial customer service entry-points.

For me, it's way to respond to a post in a way that doesn't hijack a conversation. Often times, my replies aren't directly relevant to the primary conversation – mostly a matter for tangential discussion.

@feditips Except that when I start typing a tag, if I let it autocomplete, it decapitalizes. Maybe the Mastodon tools need to be updated to prevent that?

Been watching the NFL for neary five decades, now. But it feels like, as the NFL has embraced online betting, the quality of officiating has dropped. Not saying it's anything more than a weak correlation, but it's not a good look, regardless.
