@darius I’m not a fan of the kitchen sink approach for my personal use -at terns but I do kind of enjoy seeing Vivaldi continue to carry the torch dropped by Netscape Communicator.

@darius @textfiles as an Old, I can confirm that all my folk who were into the BBS scene way back when, particularly the networked BBSes like fidonet and citanet (my fav from the day), feel it too. cc @Ricardus who was my citadel sysop back in the 1980s.

@darius every time I've set up a cron job to handle this for me I've blown it somehow and still had to go in and manually run it, even after decades of setting up cron jobs haha. the toot-lab has been moved and moved again so many times, from the cloud to my basement and back to the cloud again, that there's all kinds of funk smeared across the thing.

@darius oh, that's awesome! I had no idea you worked on that!
If you still have folk over there who'd like to chat about possible partnership/integration opportunities between our toolsets jump in my DMs with some info and I'll get you my work email and such, because I would love to have that conversation with them and our partner strategy team (increasing our integration footprint is on my short list for the next six months, and that's a segment I'm particularly interested in beefing up on our end)

@darius Evercast - https://evercast.us - it's a sub-150ms latency video teleconferencing app specifically designed for the workflows of media and entertainment producers from script to screen (sorry, it just all falls out after this many demos and meetings in a short time haha)
