@feditips Is there a place to look at your pending follows you might not be aware are still pending so you can retry them?

@feditips Is it possible to embed your own instance's view of the post, rather than the original instance's?

That way it would not put the traffic burden on the original, would not expose your visitors' access patterns to the original, etc. but should still honor edits, deletion, etc. (and also would honor the author blocking your instance, I think).

@darius @blaine It would be epic 🍿 if somehow post-Elon Twitter eventually ended up contracting with and paying that coop to fill in and fix the damage from what he broke.

@Gargron Please look at issue 20673. It's got a lot of noise but good work on how the logic for this could work. See my comments (buried somewhere near the middle at this point) for good summary.

@dansup @ariadne The whole feature feels like a poor cop-out in place of having working moderation (deleting health misinformation) that reeks of commercial social media unwillingness to moderate.

@darius I wish we had a way to do this with threaded replies intact linked in from mutuals or others who consent to it.
