@FediFollows this is awesome, and what makes the #fediverse so simple, complex, and interesting - how certain hosted groups or platforms can be specialized and general. I guess it’s a new way of thinking too. I’m used to mainstream social media like #instagram for photos only, which is #pixelfed. But even with special fedi sites, you can still interact all the same way on one just the same as another.

@feditips and @stux is there a way to collect the helpful tips, websites, etc and send that to new users when they sign up? Or have a #welcometoot sent to them with this info?

@dansup excited to see the outcome of this for the internets sake, but this is a bit much. If it needs what Instagram uses, it makes sense as you are sharing the same account, just a different medium. From a corporate perspective using instagram as your launch window is a good place to start over Facebook.
