@feditips it seems to me we should just get clients to browse the other server. Backfilling is an option but it's too late, I want to make a decision to follow an account based on their previous content. But good thing other people are noticing.

I have fond memories of my InterRail Trip in Northern Europe when I was younger. I'm hoping to repeat the experience in the future, when the kiddo gets older.

@feditips I honestly don't understand how Mastodon doesn't support "let this website handle this scheme" yet. I'm sure it was low priority and our beloved developers will add it at some point.

It would help users a lot that they could set up their instance to handle adding profiles from other instances by clicking links on webpages and stuff.

Similarly a "mastodon://user@instance" URI could be handled by mobile apps.

@EU_Commission solution to a problem that doesn’t exist. There should always be an option NOT to use this. If not it clearly shows the intent.
