Children who are victims of violence - physical, secual, psychological violence - usually know their perpetrators very well. They are members of the families, neighbours or close friends of the parents.
None of this is mentioned in your high profile political stunts. There would be stronger arguments to monitor children’s rooms instead of Internet communication.
