Signal is great, but I wish it was decentralized and didn't require a phone number to work - there must be other ways to stop spam.

I was a recipient of an Erasmus grant for the year I was at university in France.

It certainly helped, as it always costs more for a foreigner to live in a country as you don't know all the local money-saving tips until you have been there for a while.

@TerribleMaps it must be a really old map - the UK land-mass is still joined to the rest of europe. Where on earth did you find this abomination????

@EU_Commission Great, lets hope it replaces the pointless form that UK people had to fill in at a post office where we had to glue a photo of ourselves to a piece of paper that says stuff in several languages, which then gets stamped by some random post office employee for some countries, except for spain, which needs a separate but very similar form.... oh wait, the UK isn't in the EU any more :( bah

@EU_Commission Erasmus helped me when i was at #Bordeaux uni. Foreign countries are expensive to stay in if you're not a local and don't know all the cheap places from day 1, and the grant certainly helped me.
