@Gargron You should only heed reports from long-standing accounts with lots of followers. If they know they’ll get banned for fslse reporting, the practice will stop.

@feditips You can imagine how high my eyebrows arched when I read the first sentence as ‘If you’re @%#&-ing someone on here it’s really important to make sure you’ve chosen the right person’.

I would suggest that that is good advice generally.
