There are some major problems with the American tech companies, but attempting to micromanage them through legislation isn't the solution. Micromanagement is just begging for unintended consequences.

@feditips Perhaps the idea of having an account live on multiple servers would be a feature to implement in the future. It would make sense to limit this, but it would fit nicely with the concept of decentralization and it would prevent an account from being lost if a server suddenly disappears.
