@dansup Source code comes and goes, but what really matters is the vision and drive that wills a project into existence and gets it momentum. You’ve clearly demonstrated that, so you have nothing to be embarrassed about. How well do you think the original code written by Bill Gates would stand up next to that of even the most junior hires today? The sooner you get your code published, the better your odds of building on your current momentum.

@feditips While I appreciate the point you're making here, I don't think the right answer is to simply return to the old default, which constituted a major sticking point for even those new users who were technically literate. Instead of pushing for a reversion, why not simply ask for the app to suggest a server at random from a reasonable number of carefully curated ones? That pool could gradually grow over time to avoid the over-concentration issue.
