@feditips While I appreciate the point you're making here, I don't think the right answer is to simply return to the old default, which constituted a major sticking point for even those new users who were technically literate. Instead of pushing for a reversion, why not simply ask for the app to suggest a server at random from a reasonable number of carefully curated ones? That pool could gradually grow over time to avoid the over-concentration issue.
