@Mastodon You have a real opportunity here to make Mastodon the #1 alternative for those looking to join a place that actually respects their privacy and doesn't bombard them with dank memes and intrusive ads. 
But the app itself hasn't been updated since July. You still can't edit your posts. There's no option to see blocked users and domains, either. Unlike the desktop version, it's missing a lot of features. 
Please work on improving the app. I see a lot of potential.

@feditips I have. The desktop version of Mastodon is a mess. I can't stand it. In general, most apps these days aren't meant to be displayed horizontally, but vertically, like on a phone. Office tasks on a PC or laptop and the rest on a phone.

@feditips Since we're on the subject, let's clarify a few things:
Like Mastodon, PeerTube is also divided into numerous instances.
Unlike Mastodon, most of these instances will NOT allow people to create an account.

This means that you're NOT going to find YouTube level of content because there's barely anyone creating it.

I get it, though. Instance owners have to pay for everything, and that can get expensive with each new account.

@dansup I don't like how the Discover tab works in the android app. It's a never-ending column of thumbnails that you need to tap on before you get to view the actual image with all the icons and stuff. Why?

@dansup Instagram is super toxic, more so than the wildfires in Canada. I'm glad people can move on from that terrible place without losing their pics and uploads.

@feditips @dansup @pixelfed Speaking of... Why isn't the Pixelfed app on the Playstore and Appstore already? Plenty to improve, of course, but the latest version is better than ever.

@feditips @pixelfed @vernissage @PixelDroid The app is pretty janky, let me tell you. Photos have to be cropped before you can share them. And no one's willing to follow you even though my account was trending, but that's more subjective.

Anyway, we need an official app so that the Community can thrive.

@EU_Commission I, too, would like to join in the festivities. Unfortunately, I live in Romania, a country that has been denied entry into the Schengen Area.
