@EvanHahn I think the author overlooks some things:
In Par. 28:
- the doc “calls on” is weak language and no commitment
- ref to “global efforts” + “different national circumstances, pathways and approaches” opens exit doors for all
- transition from ff “in energy systems” includes power generation and heating only
And Par. 29 allows for natural gas use “in facilitating the energy transition while ensuring energy security”
This document is imho no tool but an inflatable toy.
