@dansup I think it might be a lineage rom feature but I've found the screen record quick tile to be super useful for reporting app bugs. It's nice having it as an OS feature.

@dansup That's unfortunate. When telling people about the fediverse, it's always embarrassing that the answer to "how do I avoid picking a server that's blocked by everyone" or "how do I pick a server that doesn't block the instances I want to reach" seems to be "visit each one and check for yourself". It's not ideal. I really wish for a database where I can enter a list of instances I want to follow people on and it will show me which instances can reach the most based on blocklist information.

@dansup @pixelfed It would be great if this also showed the reverse metric - how many other instances block this one. That way people could get some visibility into which instances are widely blocked. Of course it might be vulnerable being gamed, so perhaps something like "blocked by x top-100 servers" or "blocked by servers representing x% of fediverse users", that way manipulating the metric would require spoofing a large number of users which would be more obvious.

@Mastodon Oh no only 250? I'm definitely buying one of each merch type, and possibly one of each design in one category.

@dansup Although I haven't been on FB for a long time, I do like the overflow options for notifications including something to the effect of "unsubscribe from this post/thread/whatever".

@dansup For those who don't know, these aren't instances so no user accounts are impacted. One is a stats site that tracks instance size/activity stats and the other is an informational getting started site. There are many others but I have to say fedidb.org was the best looking site for keeping track of instance size/growth and it will be missed!

@dansup I'm very interested in seeing BYOD happen, both because it could let users join an existing instance while retaining the ability to migrate post-shutdown, and because it opens up the possibility of multiple "virtual" instances being backed by the same deduped object storage - could make managed hosting shops way more efficient in terms of storage as well as AP federation API traffic.
