@thebluemarble (post was removed?) @EU_Commission no completely wrong. You seem to be a bad actor, knowingly or not, trying some overexaggeration to spread dissension and with this supporting divide and conquer schemes of dictatorships like Russia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foundations_of_Geopolitics
Yes I mean every bad actor but not simpleton "a countries" fault. Neoliberalism is a danger but voting someone because of friendship to dictatorial Russia is not a mistake.

@EU_Commission and sadly some of those, a minority, want to damage Europe while promoting dictatorships that stand in contrast to European values. We have to think about mechanisms, that can protect our democracies and freedoms against such bad actors from within. We have yet to go a long and tough way. We can make it even better, but it won't be easy.

@EU_Commission so true and I hope, that we, in the EU & in its institutions, make reforms to strengthen freedom & democracy for all citizen in times of relative peace, as Ukraine does reforms against corruption in times of war. Sadly there is a sting lobbying against it & voter polls suggest a rise in right wing ideologies which won't fix EU's problems but worsen them. Citizens need trust in their governments & this will only happen with strong and consequential transparency which EU is lacking.

@EU_Commission very nice, but really "by voting we make our voices heard?" EU parliament's proposals can just be ignored. Also some great other comments like what is about all those behind the door deals or strengthening trains, especially night trains. I would love to be able to travel economically friendly over night to all the nice tourism places or near them in the EU with prices combatative to flights. Europe had such a great potential but we need to hold together.

@EU_Commission I didn't knew the ability to remove preinstalled apps is part of it. That would be awesome but I suspect there is a whole in the legislation and "essential" apps still can't be removed. Anyways it's a step in the right direction.

@EU_Commission that is so true We are #StrongerTogether. We should also realise, that we are all humans and working together is better than pretending to be one group against another. European history is a great teacher. I hope the clean energy transition goes well and fast.

@feditips ideally it should only be an option to freely choose whenever you want. Or is the idea I might have in mind just to create an instance of mastodon just for myself? I always think about a local profile hub that is able to connect to whatever is wanted.

@Mastodon maybe someone with a github account can open an issue about rules in dark client with black font on dark grey background make it nearly impossible to read (see screenshot or @rootadmin/110641590303787080 ). Nevertheless, no other problems found so far. Thanks for a great project.
