Most folks I know who are worried about AI aren’t worried about these programs becoming self aware and oppressing us. That’s not a thing. We’re worried about all the ways these systems will ramp up existing inequalities and further obliterate our shared reality as human beings. That’s already happening.

So we’re holding a Let This Radicalize You essay contest. We will accept submissions of up to 3000 words from folks who've been organizing for 3 yrs or less. Essays should be first-person writing. Okay, so, I just found out that I'm being laid off. My department is being completely dissolved.

I'm really sad, because I was doing full remote data entry, and I've never been happier with a job in my life. My mental health has never been better, either.

So, can anyone point me towards a fully-remote position that involves working with data, not phones? I swear, I'm super qualified and really good at this. I work hard, and I'm dependable. In the USA.
