@dansup it's always fun finding good domains. In the early days of the Internet I would buy and sell them. Now they are difficult to find. I did pick up DigDug.org a while back which I will use for my personal Fediverse instances.

@dansup what you have done is great and very appreciated. Though as a user I will say that I am a man of simplicity when it comes to apps and other things. Too often they can become over built with features and functionality. Sometimes the simpler the better.

On the otherhand I am looking forward to Loops and Groups.

I am looking at self-hosting the package of Fediverse services such as Mastodon, Pixelfed/Groups, Loops and possibly others for my own use. I should be able to install it all but unsure of what is involved with maintaining and securing them. Can anyone offer insights into it all?

I am looking forward to trying it out. My inability to find an adequate groups replacement is the only reason I am still on Facebook. I have a couple interest based groups that I manage there which I need to migrate off. When will you be releasing it?

@dansup Groups is one main reason I still have Facebook. I am looking for an alternative so I can leave the place.

@feditips @pfefferle great news. Though I can only imagine all those running WooCommerce on their WP and Mastodon becoming over run with posts of stuff for sale.
